Describe your style?  Colorful, crisp, natural, bright, giggles, honest, wonder, light. Take a look through my portfolio!  What I am not… stagnant, stiff, dark, artificial, cheesy, formal, stand-look-at-camera-say-CHEESE.

Do you get digital images?  Absolutely. I want my clients to be able to share, print and use the photos however they want.

 
How are they delivered?  Your online gallery of photos will all be stored in the cloud. Easily accessible on any computer, mobile device or tablet. You will be able to download your images to where ever you want. You can send that link to all your friends and family so they too can enjoy the photos and download the ones they like for themselves.
 
What’s in my camera bag? I use a full frame professional Canon digital camera. I use a prime, a zoom lens and wide angle.  Extra batteries and memory cards are always packed.  Light reflectors for bouncing natural light around.  And depending on the session some props.  I am continually upgrading my equipment so contact me if you have any concerns.
 
Are you a “natural light” photographer? I love shooting natural light when I can and it’s available. However I do use some helpers to modify and improve light during the session and back at the office during the editing process.
 

What if we have bad weather? I do love a little fog, even overcast but if the weather is a problem we will just reschedule.

When do you schedule? For outdoors I prefer morning or late afternoon, it is the optimal time for the best lighting.  Don’t worry, I AM available on weekends.  Contact me to chat and schedule.  

What should I wear?  I love colors that pop for family sessions.  Colors that are opposites on the color wheel like purple & yellow, red & green, orange & navy.  Jewel tones look great too. Accessories make fun pops too… think scarfs, jewelry and shoes.  For newborns I like the focus on the baby, so family can dress in soft colors or neutrals.  We can always add color with blankets, wraps and hair bands.  As for couples anything goes! How many photos will I get? It depends on what type of session is ordered.  We will chat beforehand to make sure we cover everything you want and then some.

Color or Black & White? I love color photos.  Yet, some images just look great as black and whites.  I will deliver the photos as I see artistically fit.  After receiving the photos we can always tweak a few if you prefer.
 
Are they high-resolution? Of course!
 
When will I get my photos? Within a week or 2 you will have all of your images.  I also tend to get really excited and slip you some sneak peeks in advance.
 
How do I order prints? You can download and order your prints wherever you would like. I do prefer mpix.com for high quality prints.  Try the ‘Luster’ prints they make, just beautiful!
 
How do I schedule/pay? A $50 non-refundable down payment is due at booking.  That deposit secures the date and time of your session.  The balance is due the day of.  I accept cash or check.  Deposit is non-refundable.  I know sometimes life happens, kids get sick, family emergency, or plans change.  If so, notify me up to 24 hours before your session to reschedule the date and the deposit will transfer to the new session date.  If you cancel and do not reschedule your session, your deposit will be forfeited.  If weather issues prevent your session from happening, I will touch base to discuss and we will make the call on rescheduling.
