I hardly get to post about my fall sessions in October. I am just too busy shooting, editing sessions, and taking care of clients. But, I wanted to post about how not every fall day is that perfect sunshiny colorful day. Yet, there is still beauty and fun. Rainy days make for cool tones and dramatic skies. This repeat family said, as long as it isn’t pouring- let’s go for it! Risk? Nah, worst case we just reschedule.
I packed my clear umbrellas. Always prepared. We did a full session in the drizzle. The kids were old enough to just be fine with it. More than fine, they had a blast. They loved the umbrellas and excitement about shooting fast just in case we got poured on. Something special about ceasing the moment! Learning to pivot and thrive in the moment, just a good lesson for the kids too. Who says it’s just photography?!
