This sweet couple reached out to me hoping I’d say “YES” to photographing their Roswell elopement. Uh, of course I can. Pups too, definitely. Wednesday evening, why not! Am I LGBTQIA+ friendly? Yes, since childhood, I grew up with this community raising me.
Choosing the Roswell Mill set the perfect scene for a relaxed and intimate elopement, where I had the privilege of capturing a beautiful post-ceremony session for this same-sex couple. This historic mill is a popular photography site nestled in the heart of Roswell, GA. It boasts rustic charm and river views. These features provided a stunning natural backdrop for their special day. Their wedding day was held on their dating anniversary, even more romantic. The couple had already exchanged vows in a private ceremony with their best friend officiating, making this session all about celebrating their love and soaking in the moment together.
I was honored to photograph the start of their new chapter in the most genuine way. Providing portraits of both brides, details of the day and of course highlighting them as a married couple. Keeping things true to themselves, the couple brought along their two beloved dogs, who added a playful and personal touch to the session. This was their first professional session together so we made it relaxed but sneaked a few fun prompts and romantic moments. The outcome was a gallery full of touching images!
