Photographing your family with teens and young adults is so valuable! I am here to say please do not stop taking family pictures as children get older. Schedules get busy, maybe some are away at college or heavily involved in sports or work. We can work around all of this! Make it a priority.
At this point family dynamics are changing quickly. It is important to capture the togetherness you still have. With this family it was so refreshing to witness and document the parent-child relationships and sister’s relationship. I got to document the sisters laugh and be playful through simple directions. In the next few years things will change even more as their youngest prepares for college. Getting a family together and preserving the way they are each year or every other year is such a gift. I always say this because it is true YOU WILL ONLY REGRET THE PICTURES YOU DIDN’T TAKE.
