This client decide to be completely authentic to who they are as a couple. She choose a dressed up look and for her second look asked if they could take some portraits in their athleisure hiking gear. Uh, yes! While it’s not for everyone, I love how they turned out. It totally suited pregnancy because let’s be honest, this is how we dress often during pregnancy- comfortable! The key to these looking great is they dressed in similar color tones and it fit together well. Having both looks in their gallery gives them great variety.
These images are for you NOT me so it’s important to dress authentic to yourself. I’m a jeans and t-shirt girl to the core. However, I like to elevate our look for family pictures BUT never completely formal- because that just isn’t us. I also have had couple say, “I’m only doing maternity pictures once so I’m going for it” and they choose something from my client closet with a lot of drama and I am all for that too!
