What is a lifestyle newborn session? This is a newborn session that takes place in the first few weeks after baby is born within your home, without props, and doctored poses. Why is it becoming so popular???
Authentic. Those first few weeks with your newborn at home are so uniquely special. Moments of bonding, feeding and cuddling are what you are going to want to remember. Babies in props with store bought studio backgrounds can be dated and sometimes impersonal. Instead your home provides the perfect backdrop that can include the your nursery, your cozy bed or even your spot on the couch where all those cuddles and feedings will happen.
Comfort. Taking your newborn out of the house is a chore. Especially with toddlers in tow and wardrobe ready. Sessions can take a couple hours, so it’s nice to be in the comfort of your own home. Older siblings are more at ease in their own surroundings. Familiar smells, and sounds makes a soothing environment for baby. Added bonus, less germs!
Convenience. I bring everything to you. Along with the equipment, I have several wraps and accessories or we can decide what personal items of your baby’s to use. Anything your newborn needs is at arms reach. Your items are also there, because well spit-up happens. Often, I have been able to suggest clothing options right at the session. Let’s face it convenience is helpful when you are a tad sleep deprived. I’ve been there… I get it.
